We were retained by an International Executive Search consultancy to help them identify an experienced Senior Consultant with exposure to the medical devices industry. After undertaking a search across Europe, a candidate was identified in Germany who had the skill set and cultural fit required. Our client went the extra mile to recruit this person as London had been the initial target location, but this switched to Hamburg to accommodate the candidate and focus efforts on the DACH countries. Flexibility from both sides ensured a successful outcome.

 


 

We partnered with a leading American staffing organisation who was looking to expand into Europe. The company is technology savvy and offers a number of MSP solutions very successfully in North America. We undertook an extensive search of the market, focusing primarily on senior level executives based in the UK who had European exposure and understood the varying market dynamics. A shortlist of over 10 candidates was presented and they were asked to present case studies to the hiring manager. The successful candidate came from a large staffing organisation but has an entrepreneurial flair.

 


 

Our client based in the US with a mid to senior level project search and selection business were looking to grow their offerings across the US Insurance and Asset Management markets and Search4Search were retained to find a US Managing Director role to cover these two markets and to build the client’s US business with a remit to further grow their existing portfolio across the industry. A leading Change and Transformation Recruitment Consultancy in the UK retained Search4search to headhunt a Regional Manager to set up and lead a new business team for the client based in Birmingham, Bristol or Manchester with the responsibility for building on their market share. A thorough search was conducted across the south east  area in order to identify genuine talented recruiters in their field who would be able to grow with the practice. After headhunting a long list of candidates, we provided a number of  talented candidates and one of our candidates was hired.

 


 

One of the largest UK financial services firms retained Search4Search to help identify a Head of Business Development to lead the business development team and deliver sales and initiatives for client growth for their new product, a platform that allows individuals from the worlds of data science and Artificial Intelligence to be matched with relevant career opportunities. This young start-up is a true disruptor to the future of recruitment. Within 4 weeks of commencing the search, one candidate was offered and accepted. Other candidates were identified as future hires for their BD team.

 


 

The CEO of search4search was approached to review how a medium size Executive Search Boutique could expand into additional sectors outside of its core business of Banking and Finance.  A bench marking exercise was undertaken to understand from their top 50 clients, which search companies they use to recruit IT positions and the demand for interim management was assessed. After successfully collecting and analyzing the data it was decided that the client would give us a mandate to search for a head of a new interim business. A shortlist of four candidates was presented and a new Managing Director appointed within three months of the mandate. The CEO of searc4search worked with the successful candidate during his ‘gardening leave’ to build a business plan which was implemented upon his arrival. A new search for a head of the IT division was then discussed.

 


 

An established Executive Search company had plans to expand to the UAE. We worked with the CEO and management team to advise and deliver a cost effective and productive market entry. We reviewed their client base and benchmarked how many of their clients were present in the UAE. An online survey was conducted with existing clients to understand their approach to suppliers in the Middle East and Africa. A new company in Dubai was established. Offices were recommenced in a number of free zones to ensure that the new entity was 100% wholly owned. We worked with the CEO and HR Director to draw up a job description for the new Managing Director for the office. Part of this process was to advise on salary, bonus and other incentive payments. The market was mapped to create a long list and face to face interviews were conducted. The shortlist was then presented to our client in London. Interviews took place in Dubai and London with our client and a candidate selected and recruited.


 

Our client is an International Executive Search Company with offices across the globe. They were looking for a Partner to open their office in Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates. After a global search, an outstanding candidate was identified in Hong Kong. This candidate had worked in the Middle East before and was interested in relocating back. However the candidate could not relocate for 6 months due to client commitments. The client and candidate agreed to remain in touch and 9 months later the candidate was ready to move and was actually offered a role in the Dubai office and joined 1 year after our first communication.


 

Our client is a leading Search and Interim Solution company based in London. The company decided to expand their offering to include MSP solutions and won a large piece of work with a global client. The company felt they lacked in-depth knowledge in this area to grow the business unit further. Search4Search was retained to identify a Director to lead the Practice. We already knew of a strong candidate in the market who had the right track record and approached him for the role. After numerous rounds of interview he was offered and accepted the role.


A global executive search organisation asked us to assist with the recruitment of a Country Head for Saudi Arabia. This was a challenging role as they wanted someone who would relocate to Riyadh and establish a business there across a number of sectors. They also wanted someone with existing GCC experience. Search4Search conducted a market map of top search professionals across the EMENA region and presented a shortlist of 3 candidates, 2 based in the region and 1 based in Europe covering the region. The selected candidates was based in Dubai and will be moving to Riyadh in the coming months. He has a strong appetite to be based in Saudi Arabia as 80 percent of his currents searches are based there and the sees it a real advantage to be based on the ground in Riyadh.

They have been in operation for over 20 years and have a very successful business with offices in locations such as Dubai and Oman. They were looking for a Consultant to expand their oil and gas offering based in Abu Dhabi. Candidates were identified across the region and the successful candidates was already living in Abu Dhabi and has worked in both Europe and the Middle East in senior level recruitment both for consultancies and in-house. Her tenacious personality and knowledge of the oil and gas industry helped cement her place in the Abu Dhabi team.


 

We were retained by a leading Executive Search Consultancy in Hong Kong who have offices across the globe. They were looking to recruit a Senior Consultant for their Finance & Banking Division and asked Search4Search to assist. The search was conducted across Asia, The Middle East and Europe to identify senior search professionals who would be able to grow and develop the practice. The shortlist consisted of candidates from Hong Kong, Singapore, Dubai and London. After a number of interviews 2 candidates were offered roles and both accepted. One candidates was already based in Hong Kong and the other relocated to the country.


 

We were retained by a boutique Executive Search Consultancy who specialise in the consumer industries. The company is based in London with an international remit. Search4search was asked to help identify and attract a Consultant to assist in the develop of the sales and marketing team. This was a 360 degree role requiring business generation and top level delivery. After mapping the UK market ,we decided to extend the search of certain parts of Europe and identified a Recruitment Consultant who was based in Switzerland and wanted to move to London. She had a background in the FMCG industry and recruitment. She accepted the role and relocated to London this summer.


 

We were retained by a Global Executive Search Firm to help identify a new Partner for their Chicago business. This was a specific search that focused on the local area. Search4Search was able to identify a candidate that was offered at the end of the search process. 2 other candidates were identified in the talent pipeline for future hires.


 

We were retained by a leading Interim and Executive Search Consultancy who are based in London and have a focus on the UK market. They wanted to add a Consultant to their HR Division. After mapping and searching the UK market we identified a candidate who had a solid background in interim recruitment and fulfilled many HR assignments.
